GASB Review: New Standards and the Latest on SEA

This audio conference will provide must-know guidance from GASB on Statement No. 48 (Sales and Pledges of Receivables), effective for FY 2008 financial statements, and Statements No. 49 (Pollution Remediation), No. 50 (Pension Disclosures), and No. 52 (Land and Real Estate Investments held by Endowments) which are effective for periods beginning after June 15, 2008. Statement No. 51 (Intangible Assets), issued in June 2007 and effective for periods beginning after June 15, 2009, will also be covered. GASB representatives, including Chair Robert Attmore, Director of Research David Bean, and others, discuss the much-anticipated preliminary exposure document on service efforts and accomplishments.
