NASACT holds its yearly business meeting at the annual conference each August. The business meetings are typically open to NASACT members, their staffs, NASACT staff, and invited guests. At the meeting, NASACT's committees report on their activities. Additionally, reports are given by the presidents of the National Association of State Comptrollers and the National State Auditors Association, as well as by NASACT's executive director and Washington director. New officers are also elected each year at the business meeting.
