The NSAA Excellence In Accountability Awards are given to recognize outstanding performance audits and special projects performed by NSAA offices. Awards are given in three categories - small performance audit (less than 2,000 hours), large performance audit (2,000 or more audit hours) and special projects. Only NSAA member offices may participate, and only audit reports issued and special projects completed during the most recent two calendar years will be accepted. Award winners will be recognized at the NSAA annual conference. Click to see letter of invitation, guidelines and entry form.
Each year NSAA presents this award to formally recognize individuals who have demonstrated sustained outstanding leadership and notable contributions to state government auditing.
